How Do I Create an Account with BitDefender? Why Do I need MyAccount?
MyAccount is your online profile as a BitDefender customer. It allows you to receive relevant information about BitDefender products and services and get personalized technical support. It also gives you access to online backup, parental control, updates and technical support.
You can also retrieve your lost product license keys at any time from: http://myaccount.bitdefender.com
You can create MyAccount during the installation of a BitDefender product, or by visiting http://myaccount.bitdefender.com if you did not have Internet access when installing the product.
With BitDefender 2011, you will be able to create a new account or sign in with your existing account. If you are performing a trial installation, you must create an account in order to proceed with the installation. If you have purchased BitDefender, you can waive the account registration for 30 days.

Your E-mail and personal information will be sent to the BitDefender servers through a private, secure connection, and it will not be used for purposes other than correspondence on your BitDefender products and services.
